Michael Patrick "Mike" Nolan, 59, passed away on April 9, 2025, in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Born on April 6, 1966, in Vallejo, California, Mike lived a life defined by craftsmanship, creativity, and unwavering dedication.
A skilled new construction plumber, Mike approached his work with precision and pride. His high standards and straightforward approach earned him the admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Throughout his career, he built not only homes and buildings but also lasting friendships within the industry.
Outside of his profession, Mike was a devoted musician and visual artist. A passionate guitarist with a love for heavy metal and blues, he cherished his collection of ten guitars. Music was more than a pastime-it was an essential part of who he was. His artistic expression extended to drawing as well; he created vivid works in pencil, pen, and chalk that reflected his attention to detail and creative spirit.
Mike adored his grandson August Michael Nolan, born March 4, 2024, spending the time with Augie teaching him to strum the guitar and dancing to the rhythm.
Mike is lovingly remembered by his adult children: Alex Nolan of Ashland, Missouri; Andrew Nolan of Vallejo, California; and Haley Nolan of Aurora, Colorado. He is also remembered by his mother Terri Crane and sister Christine Crane, Columbia, Missouri, aunt and uncle Kenny and Rosie Malito of Vallejo, California; aunt and uncle Norman and Dixie Coover of Vacaville, California; aunt Connie Watson of Vacaville, aunt Sue Plotner of Vacaville, California; uncle Jerry Smith of South Carolina, and cousins Denise, Shawna, Aaron, Cindy, Cheri, Christopher, Ryan, Shawn, Denise and Duwayne.
He was preceded in death by his father Michael E. Nolan; paternal grandparents Charles "Bud" Nolan and Maxine Nolan; maternal grandmother Dottie MacKenzie; and maternal grandfather by marriage Bud MacKenzie.
Mike's legacy endures through the structures he helped build and the art and music he shared. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home Osage Beach, Missouri.
