Michael E. O'Brien, age 68, passed away peacefully at home in Reading, MA on December 21, 2025. He was born in June of 1957, the loving son of Anne (Doucette) O'Brien and the late William O'Brien.
Michael is survived by his mother, Anne (Doucette) O'Brien; his daughters, Michelle (O'Brien) Sequeira and her partner Mark, and Kelly (O'Brien) Moore and her husband Tyler; and his partner, Patty Young, along with her children Stephen, Dennis, and Alicia.
Throughout his life, Michael worked in a variety of roles, taking particular pride in his work as a limousine/private driver. A most cherished experience was being personally selected to chauffer Apollo astronaut Alan Bean during his Boston area tour. Before retiring, he dedicated his last few working years providing transport to rehabilitation services for those in need. He also provided attentive and loving care for his mother, Anne.
Michael will be fondly remembered for his loyalty and sense of humor. He cared deeply for his friends and family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
At the request of the family services will be private.
