Michael Olesh Obituary

Born in Lebanon on January 4, 1975, he was the son of Cathy M. (Morningwake) Olesh of Myerstown and the late Jonathan J. "Bear" Olesh, Sr. He graduated from Tulpehocken High School with the Class of 1992. He was the owner of Mike Olesh Remodeling. He was an avid hunter, coached Little League Baseball for seven years, and was head coach of the Fredericksburg Jr. Legion Baseball Team. In the past he raced cars at Linda's Speedway, enjoyed going upstate to the family cabin in Potter County, and was very active in the community.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Logan M. Olesh of Fredericksburg; daughter Breanna R. Olesh of Fredericksburg; brother Jonathan J. husband of Rhonda Olesh, Jr. of Fredericksburg; and sister Nicole M. wife of Cory Deshong of Myerstown.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been set up for Logan and Breanna. Contributions may be made to www.gofundme.com/f/college-fund-for-breanna-and-logan.
