I´ve known Mike since elementary school at Talbot. Mike was such a great basketball player and wrestler. Later in life, Mike and I ran into each other at track meets when his son Ryan and my daughter were both running. We had so many great conversations.. just a few months ago several of us old classmates met up at the Golden corral. Mike was the same old Mike always so nice and it brings tears to my eyes writing this. I´m attaching a picture of when we met up at the Golden corral and until we meet again "O", rest in peace and you will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the entire Outler family. Mike was one of my oldest friends since back in junior high. Heck of an athlete and one of the nicest people you´d ever meet. We grew up together and shared a love of sports, music, and just hanging out. I´ve thought of you often over the years and watched you through the lens of social media and through mutual friends...saw you raise a family and catch trout most people only dream of! The news of your passing brought me to my knees. I wish we could´ve caught up over a cold beverage and swapped lies over dinner. Until we meet again...say hey to all the folks I´m missing and save me a spot on the shores of the big fishing hole up there. Love you, my friend.

I don´t even know where to begin my brother. Mike was my best friend growing up in Widefield, first person I met in fourth grade. Mike and I spent countless nights at each other`s house and played basketball football baseball together through high school and beyond. The Outler family was my family. Mike was an encouraging, thoughtful man of integrity. Never had a bad thing to say about anyone. My heart is broken into a million O pieces, but nothing will erase my memories. As good of a friend he was Michael was even a better father. My condolences to Stevie, Sherry, Ryan and Michael. Save a spot on the basketball court up in heaven for me.. Rest in peace, my brother until we meet again. I love you
