Michael Dean Palmer Jr.

Michael Dean Palmer Jr., 44, a resident of the Hillsboro community passed away on January 13, 2026 at his home.

Michael was born on September 24, 1981 in Newport Beach, CA, He was the youngest of two children born to Michael Palmer Sr. And Debra (Peterson) Palmer. He was raised in Valley Center California.

He met his future wife, Brandi, while at a restaurant in 2012. They were inseparable from the moment they met and started building a life together immediately. They were married on July 15, 2014 and made their lives in Banks, ultimately settling in Hillsboro in 2024.

Michael had worked as a snowboard instructor in Big Bear California. During the off season he worked in construction.

He enjoyed the outdoors, foraging for mushrooms, camping, and riding motorcycles. He loved long walks with his dog "Charger" and was a gifted artist. Everyone knew Michael had a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loved spending time with family, especially his nephews who loving referred to him as Uncle Monkey.

He is preceded in death by his son, Shawn.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brandi, her two children, Arliece Caro of La Pine, OR, Leticia and Jeffery Salas of Hillsboro, two grandchildren, Nicolas and Avelina, his sister, Jennifer and Anthony San Nicolas, nephews Matthew and Jack of California. His Parents Michael & Debbie Palmer of Banks, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
