Michael Pascu Obituary
Michael R. "Mike" Pascu, 76, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
He was born in Akron and was a retired Brick Mason.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rema (Metcalf) Pascu; first wife, Colleen; and second wife, Connie. He is survived by his children, Michael (Terri) Tandarich and Todd (Angela) Tandarich, Scott (Amy) Pascu, Nicole Pascu and Kelly (Billy) Villers; siblings, Chuck (Diane) Pascu, Victoria Pascu-Godwin, Susan (Roy) Midcap and David (Karen) Pascu; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was also "pa-pa" to many others and was a good friend.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where a Funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. Pastor Brian Nutt officiating. Cremation to follow. Mike was a Teammate at Ellet Highschool when we won The Metropolitan League Track Championship in 1964. He was a Sprinter and also a Standout On The Varsity Football and Basketball Teams. One of my early heros in Ellet High School Sports! Another Fallen Orangeman Never Forgotten.

I've known Mike since I was a freshman at Akron U back in 1965, and he's the one who introduced me to his cousin Tom, who became my husband for 49 years. Mike was a dear sweet man and a good friend, along with being my cousin-in-law. I will miss him dearly, and I know he will be missed by all of us who loved him.
Rest in Peace, dear Mike.
