PASSANISI, Michael T. Of Medford, September 2, 2024, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Rosemary (Gianino) Passanisi. Cherished son of the late John J. and Josephine L. (Amara) Passanisi. Dear brother-in-law to Julie Carbone of Kissimmee, FL. and Frank and Patricia Gianino of Bedford, MA. Loving uncle to Patricia Carbone, Lauren Morton and Allison Sweeney. Michael earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in French from Boston College and a second Master's Degree from Suffolk University, in Education. Michael worked for Pope John XXlll High School in Everett, for 30 years and was the head of the Foreign Language Department, teaching French, Spanish and Italian. He also became the Sports Information Director. Michael began the program at Pope John to expand the language arts to include Italian. Visiting Hours, Saturday, September 7, from 9 to 11AM, at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Horizon House, 78 Water St., Wakefield, MA. 01880.
