Michael Dwain Pearce 53, of Scammon, Kansas passed away August 10, 2025 at his home. Mike is survived by his loving wife Amy (Wilson) of the home, parents, Ron and Dora Ware; children, Shelbie, Jacob, Makayla, Hunter, Wendee, Avery and Jordyn; and five grandchildren. Mike is also survived by five siblings, Andrea (Ray), Brian (Chasity), Michelle (Ron), Lisa (Brad), Bryan (Kelly) and several nieces and nephews. He was always happy to visit with them.
Mike grew up in Southeast Kansas where he enjoyed fishing, playing with grandchildren, and loved the Kansas City Chiefs.
Mike may have had some struggles, but lived life to the fullest. Mike would do anything for his friends and neighbors. He was proud to call Scammon, Kansas his home. Mike made everyone who knew him laugh, cry, and listen to all his stories.
Our family is grateful to know that Mike is finally at peace. Mike's wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life for Mike will be on August 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the home of Ron and Dora at 683 South 210th St, Pittsburg, Kansas. Mikes favorite Taco Salad luncheon will be served.
