Michael is survived by his wife, Jessalynn of White Cloud; his children, Wesley Penland, Mick Penland, Autumn Penland all of White Cloud; his parents, Michael and Susan Penland of White Cloud; maternal grandparents, William and Pearl Doering of White Cloud; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judy and Doug Green of White Cloud; father-in-law, Lonnie Marrison of Pickford; his sister, Krystal Penland and her son, Dalton Huskamp of Texas; Matheaw Penland of Texas; sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws, Jolene Harris, Lacey Green, Tresa Green, Ryan Green, Lawrence Marrison, James Marrison; nieces and nephews – Jordan, Jessica, Mikkel, Layla, Lincoln, Lucy, Jane and DJ; several aunts, uncles and cousins; lifelong friends, David Hodges, Danny Hodges, Eric Dragon, Joey Flinton, David Kenny, Zac Harper, David Hitts, Aaron Dancer, JD Deur, Kent Hawthorne, David Penland, Greg McDonald, Justin Towne, George Jordan and many others.
A time to celebrate and remember Michael will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the family home starting at 1pm and friends are asked to bring pictures and stories. There will also be a Benefit on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Shamrock in White Cloud with information at the following link - Benefit for the Penland Family Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Penland family to assist with expenses.
