Michael Peters Obituary
He was born on November 22, 1951, the son of the late Luther Peters and Mildred (Miller) Peters.
Michael worked for many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator, retiring after a long and dedicated career. He was also well known along with his parents for owning and working on boats at Pier 50 Marina in Aurora. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the American Legion, and the Eagles.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marcia (Neuner) Peters; his daughters, Michelle Sams, Tina Cameron, and Jami (Josh) Dillhoff; his grandchildren, Dalton, Logan, Leah, Dakota, Mackenzie, Josh, and Kaleb; his great-grandchildren, Kayden, Kash, and Sawyer; his dog Stone; his sister, Darlene (Ron) Wethington; along with many cousins and other family members.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mildred Peters.
No services are scheduled at this time, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
