Michael Todd Pierce, 52, of Amo, passed peacefully leaving the struggles of failing health at his home on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 with family by his side. He was born on February 7, 1971 in Danville, Indiana to George Franklin Pierce and Bonnie Louise (Tracy) Pierce.
He was truly a jack of all trades and a master at tinkering. He had worked as an electrician, a construction worker, and had worked for Freije Auctioneers. He found joy in dirt-bikes, four-wheelers, boating, the dragstrip, collector cars, and spending time at Daytona Beach. Above all, family was his greatest joy.
Michael will be missed greatly by his family and friends including his other half, Kari Pierce of Amo; mother, Bonnie Pierce of Clayton; daughters, Tiana (husband, Dallas) Wise of Danville and Kenzie Pierce of Amo; brothers, Tony (wife, Michelle) Pierce of Martinsville and Dave Pierce of Clayton; sisters, Teresa (husband, Terry) Richey of Martinsville and Kimberly (husband, David) McKinney of Fillmore; grandchildren, Adalyn and Hayden; mother-in-law, Tina Patterson of Amo; and sister-in-law, Bobbie (husband, Mike) Johnson of Clayton.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Pierce.
