Michael Pilarowski

Michael Pilarowski, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the age of 69, in the comfort of his home in Clay Township, Michigan. Born on February 25, 1956, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Michael led a life full of love, laughter, and endless curiosity.
A self-employed business owner in the security sector, Michael was a dedicated entrepreneur who took immense pride in his work. He held a master's degree from Central Michigan University, reflecting his lifelong passion for learning and history. Known for his boundless curiosity, Michael was always eager to expand his knowledge and share new discoveries with those around him.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Michael found joy in a variety of hobbies. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, traveling, hunting, and boating. At one time, he even obtained his pilot's license and experienced the thrill of flying a Cessna. However, his greatest happiness came from the moments spent with his family, especially when sharing his cherished "Dad Jokes."
Michael is survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Jacqueline, and his devoted daughters: Rae Tuten (Ron Sorell), Sarah (Al) Rowan, Alicia Morrison (Dan Schneider), and Amanda (Dave) LaVere. He was a proud grandfather to George, Lizzie, Paul, Lilly, William, Riker, and Vivian, who will all miss their grandfather dearly. Michael also leaves behind his siblings Barb (Dave) Roddy, John (Jen), Tom, Joan (Mitch) Middaugh, Patricia (Jeff) Ruhlman, Dan, Don, and Lois (Michael) Burke, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; Norbert and Dorothy (Galitski) Pilarowski
Michael's warmth, humor, and zest for life touched all who knew him. He will be remembered fondly and missed deeply by his family and friends. May his legacy of love and laughter continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
Memorial visitation for Michael will be from 2-8 pm on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025 at the Wasik Funeral Home, Gendernalik Chapel 35259 23 Mile Rd. (New Baltimore) His Funeral services will be at 11 am on Saturday at the Funeral Home with additional visitation beginning at 10 am.
