Michael A. Pitrone

Michael A. Pitrone, Sr., of Revere, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, surrounded by his loving family. He was 63 years old.
Michael was born in Revere on August 2, 1960. He was the son of Annette "Nancy" I. Pitrone and the late Peter J. Pitrone, Sr. Michael had been a lifelong resident of Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School, class of 1978.
Michael worked for the for the City of Revere Water Department for over 25 years, until the time of his retirement. Michael was a hardworking man who dedicated his life towards work and providing for his family. He was caring and protective of those he loved. Michael adored his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a loving father, son, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be missed by all who knew him. Michael is the beloved son of Annette "Nancy" Pitrone; Devoted father of Marissa Pitrone of Mesa, AZ. And the Late Michael A. Pitrone, Jr., Cherished Grandfather of Robert Shaw of Mesa, AZ., Dear Brother of Peter Pitrone and his wife Christine of Revere, and Dawn Perna of Revere; Loving uncle of Alisa LeBlanc and her husband John, Annette Perna, Maryanne Perna and her partner Dedison Romeus, Anthony Pitrone and his wife Taryn, and Jefferey Pitrone and his wife Adriana. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Autism Society, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 305, Rockville, Maryland 20852. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
