Michael Pledge Obituary

and Melverna Pledge in Crockett County on March 21, 1960. Michael
departed his earthly life on March 7, 2024 at home peacefully sur
rounded by family. Michael accepted Christ at an early age with
Hosley Chapel CME Church.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Michael (Christi)
Vega of Dallas, TX; Courtney (Briesha) Pledge of Jackson, TN. Two
sisters, Marilyn (Larry) Neely of Jackson, TN; Shirl (Lacy) Simmons
of Jackson, TN; Three brothers, Johnny (Monea) Pledge of Cedar
Rapids, IA; Edward Morris Pledge of Humboldt, TN; Fredrick Pledge
of Nashville, TN. Two uncles, SJ (Brendella) Jenkins; Johnny
(Johnnie Key) Jenkins. Eleven Grandchildren. A host of nieces, neph
ews, cousins, and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Edward Pledge, and
mother Melverna Pledge.
