Michael Powell Obituary
Michael "Mikey" Lee Powell, age 48 of Covington, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025. He was born in Danville, Illinois on February 8, 1977, to Michael Powell and the late Kimberly Ann (Cadman) McKinney.
Mikey graduated from Covington High School in 1995. He worked as a mechanic at D & M Powell Trucking and Shar's Tire are many years. He was a simple man that never knew a stranger and loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Reese, Kylie, Kayden, and Kaiser; his dad, Michael Powell; his grandparents, Dale (Becky) Powell; his siblings, Melissa Butler, Matt Powell, Chelsea Owens, Sidney (Dane) Dunham, and Morgan Powell; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Rose.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly Ann McKinney, and maternal grandparents, Wilmer and Bertha Jean Cadman.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st in Kingman on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 11:00am till the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm with Pastor Kurt Flora officiating. Burial will follow at Coal Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
