Michael Prince Obituary
Mr. Michael David Prince, age 67, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at his home in Loris, SC. Born on May 3, 1958, in Charleston, SC, he was the son of the late Eldridge Monroe Prince and the late Mary Alice Hucks Prince. Mr. Prince worked in construction until his retirement and was of the Baptist faith. In his personal life, he was an avid fisherman, enjoyed the outdoors, and will be most remembered as a loving husband, father, and family man. Mr. Prince never met a stranger and will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
Survivors include his loving wife, Janet S. Prince; daughters, Amber Herring (Robby), and Bridgette Prince (Jordy Gore); step-children, Chris Fultz, James Fultz, and Jessica Sofield; sisters, Julie Skipper, and Sharon Goodwin, and many loving grandchildren and extended family.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Sullivan officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, prior to services, at Hardwick Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
