In Loving Memory of Mike
Michael Anthony Reber, age 51 of
Farmington, MN passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2026. Mike was born on May 10, 1974 in
Los Angeles, CA to Robert John and Bonnie (nee: Genin) Reber. Mike married Nicole "Nikki" Schiffler on July 20, 2002 at Atonement Lutheran Church in St. Cloud, MN. Mike received his Bachelor's degree from Saint John's University. He started working at what was once Rosemount Aerospace in accounting and eventually moved to a Project Planner as the company moved through different owners.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Nicole, children, Isabella, and Charles Reber; father, Robert John Reber; brother, Robert Joseph (Karla) Reber; sister, Lisa (Abel) Sandoval; nephews, Robert Adam, and Owen Reber, and Garret Johnson, and Antonio Sandoval.
Mike lived his life the way some people follow a favorite song-fully, loudly, and with his heart wide open. If there was one thing Mike believed in, it was connection. He wanted to meet everyone. Strangers were just friends he hadn't talked to yet, and by the end of any conversation, they usually had a story to tell and a reason to smile. Like Where the Streets Have No Name, Mike moved easily through every room and every crowd, never seeing labels or barriers-only people. He had an endless collection of stories, told with warmth, humor, and that unmistakable spark that made you lean in and listen. His stories weren't just entertainment; they were invitations to belong.
Above all else, Mike's greatest pride and joy was his children. He loved his kids fiercely and openly, and he was endlessly proud of who they were and who they were becoming. His love for them was steady and unmistakable-One family, bound together by love.
Mike also shared a deep and abiding love with his wife, the great partner of his life. She was his anchor, his joy, and his chosen person in every sense. Their bond was one of loyalty, laughter, and quiet understanding-the kind of love that shows up every day and never wavers.
Helping others came naturally to Mike. If you were in his circle, you knew you could count on him-no questions asked. He would give his time, his energy, and his heart without hesitation. He believed in showing up, in walking beside people when life was hard, and in lifting others whenever he could. In a world that can feel heavy, Mike had a way of making things feel lighter, reminding us that sometimes it really is a Beautiful Day.
To Mike, there was no such thing as a "Bad" concert, whether it was a washed up Vince Neil or experiencing U2 at his new venue The Sphere, he always came home smiling and hearing a little less. Music was as integral to his life as anything else. If there was music, there was Mike.
Mike may have left this world, but his spirit continues to Walk On through the lives he touched-the family he loved, the friends he supported, and the countless people who felt seen and valued because of him. His legacy is not just in memories, but in the kindness he modeled and the love he gave so freely.
All he ever really wanted was connection-and in that, Mike found everything.
