BIDDEFORD-Michael A. Remillard, 71, passed away February 22, 2025, at Maine Medical Center. He was born to Gertrude and Joseph Armand Remillard in Biddeford, ME on August 15, 1953. Michael graduated from St. Louis High School in 1970. He also graduated from the University of Maine in Orono in 1975 and Mansfield University in Pennsylvania with degrees in Music Education. He taught music in Turner, ME for one year. He played tuba in the Bangor Symphony and Casco Bay Concert Band. He worked for a number of years at Valcom repairing computers and teaching computer classes. His most recent job was at Southern Maine Medical Center as a computer technician. He had many interests and could easily share information about history, World War II, classical music, wood turning, and antique tractors. Michael was a member of the Second Parish Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Scarborough, ME.
He leaves behind cousins Richard (Joan) Rocray and family, Roger (Sim) Rocray and family, Michele Remillard, Brian Remillard and family, godson Benjamin Merrill and many friends and co-workers.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11 AM at the Second Parish Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 368 Gorham Road, Scarborough, ME.

Mike, I'm shocked to hear of your loss. Though we were distant cousins, I loved your stories, incredible knowledge and talent. Thank you for sharing some history and Laughter with me. Mike was a smart guy a very talented musician and a good man. We graduated from St. Louis High School together in 1970. We lost track of each other after we graduated but would here about what he was doing every once in awhile. You are free from this world and you can now fly high and soar with the Eagles. RIP by friend
