Michael J. Reome

Devoted father, husband and friend Michael J. Reome, 52, of North Bangor passed away on October 23, 2025 with his family by his side at the University of Vermont Hospital in Burlington after being stricken at work. The Reome family has put the trust of their loved one in the care of Frary Funeral Home of Malone.
Michael was born on January 24, 1973 to the late Ronald and Myrtle (Grant) Reome in Malone. He graduated from Franklin Academy in 1992. From an early age Michael had a great work ethic. Shortly after graduation he went to work for local beer distributors. He did this until he found a job that he was passionate about working for Franklin County Department of Public Transportation. On June 16, 2001 Michael married the love of his life, Dustina Whitney at St. John Bosco church.
Michael is best known to his family as a devoted husband and father who always provided. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and four wheeling with his son and family He enjoyed meticulously detailing cars on the side, taking great care to make them look brand-new. Michael also enjoyed watching wrestling.
Michael is survived by his wife; Dustina, his daughters; Shelby Reome (Devin Deshane) of Constable and Avah Reome of North Bangor, his son; Evynn Reome of North Bangor, his brother; Ronald (Maddy) Reome of Malone, sisters; Michelle Reome (Scott Wilson) and Marlene Reome both of Malone, one grandchild; Chase, along with his very dear friends Kimberly and Chris Reome, and many nieces and nephews. Michael is predeceased by his parents; Ronald and Myrtle (Grant) Reome, a brother, Thomas Reome and a sister, Dora Reome Butchino.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 starting at 2pm at the Constable Fire Department, 1136 State Route 122 Constable, NY 12926.
