Michael R. Repine, 79 of Latrobe, PA, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at his home after a long illness. He was born April 27, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late John Repine and Cecelia (Bratten) Repine. Mike was a 1964 graduate of Blairsville High School where he played football and wrestling, which he excelled at. He retired from Tecumsch Products. Mike belonged to the US Trotting Association. He had raced trotting & pacer horses for 25 years. He enjoyed traveling and was an avid Steelers fan.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeanette (Bollinger) Repine, Latrobe, PA; daughter, Leigh Sawtelle & husband, Bruce, Raleigh, NC; son, David Repine & wife, Darcy, Marion, OH; daughter, Marnie Markley & husband, Jeff, Mechanicsville, MD; daughter, Stephanie Phillips, Mt. Victory, OH; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; special niece, Michele Hart & husband, John and also many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Kaye Chakot, Peggy McGarvey, Barbara Lidey & Suzanne Milks.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 11 AM with Deacon Mark Ferlin officiating. In lieu of flowers & gifts, memorial donations may be made to Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717 to help with funeral costs.
