Michael Resetar Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Decker-Givnish Funeral Home on Jan. 8, 2024.
Michael G. Resetar of Warminster, PA passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024. He was 73 years old. Michael was born on September 29, 1950 in Braddock, Pennsylvania to the late George and Sue (nee Hotovcin) Resetar.
After graduating from Greensburg-Salem High School, Michael entered the Navy. While stationed at Johnsville Naval Air Station, he met the love of his life, Constance (Behrle). Mike and Connie went on to be married on September 8, 1973 at Nativity of Our Lord Church in Warminster, PA. Throughout the course of their 50 year marriage, Michael worked as a welder and later as an HVAC technician. He was a dedicated employee and saw the value of hard work and commitment. This grit carried over into his family life as a caring nurturer and provider and as a stellar role model. His quick wit and playful banter will be sorely missed by family and friends alike. Being hassled by Michael was both a rite of passage and a display of affection.
Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife Connie (Behrle);his two children, Jennifer Boag (Christopher) and Michael (Krista); four grandchildren (Cecilia and Connor Boag and Lydia and Noelle Resetar); his sister Patricia Hughes (David); brother-in-law James Behrle, nieces Amanda Oliver (John) and Becky Sedmak (Rich), and nephew Edward. He was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth.
Relatives and friends are invited to Michael's viewing Friday evening January 12, from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM at The Decker/Givnish Funeral Home (216 York Road, Warminster, PA 18974.) There will also be a viewing Saturday morning January 13, from 10:00 AM until the time of his funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Church (605 W. Street Road, Warminster PA 18974.) Interment will be held on Monday morning, January 15, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.)
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Michael's name to Nativity of Our Lord Church.
