Michael Ricketts

Michael A. Ricketts, 70 of Laurelville, OH. Passed away on Friday, January 24th, 2025. He was born on November 24th, 1954 in Logan, OH. To George and Dorothy (Harden) Ricketts. He married the love of his life, Jean Anne Thompson, on December 31st, 1978. Mike was proceeded in death by his father, George Jr. and three stepsons, Bill, Bobby and Tim. As well as, his brother, Terry and Nephew, Terry Dowe. He is survived by his wife, Jean Ann. His Mother, Dorothy. Sister, Nancy. And three half brothers, Dennis, George and Shawn. Daughter, Michaela (Miki). Stepdaughter, Gina. Nephew, Brian. Niece, Melissa. Sister-in-law, Vicki. Grandchildren, Russel, Tricia (Jeremy), A.J., T.J., Chase, Alisha, Levi, Lacey, Patience, Timmy, Nathan, Dillon, Taelor (Korey), Karley. Great Grandchildren, Ella, Serena, Bexley, Arabella, Brantley, Kylea, William, Oliver, Kross, Kenzie, Avera, Arkham, Oliver and Bentlee Ray. Mike served his Lord and loved his family, with everything in him. He was a hard working man, with a playful soul. He put everyone’s needs before his. If you knew Mike, you knew he loved you and he would’ve done anything for you. Nobody could ever fill his shoes, and he will be missed by everyone that ever met him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Green Summit Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 11-2.
