Michael Riley Obituary
Michael Patrick Riley, 73, of Central Square, passed away on November 13, 2025.
Born on May 21, 1952, in Syracuse, New York, Michael was the son of John and Patricia Riley.
Michael retired from the U.S. Postal Service and served as a veteran of the United States Army.
In his free time, Michael enjoyed watching sports, playing poker, and relaxing on the patio with his dog, Sampson. He was an avid fan of Syracuse sports and a loyal supporter of the Cleveland Browns.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, John Riley Sr.; his mother, Patricia; and two sisters, Mary (Riley) Strack and Patricia (Riley) Scriber.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debra Riley; four brothers, John (Deborah) Riley, Thomas Riley, Matthew (Cathy) Riley, and Timothy (Star) Riley; and his dog, Sampson, affectionately known as "Munchkin."
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212.
