In Loving Memory Jaclyn N. Collins October 26, 1982 - March 26, 2026 Jaclyn (Jaki) Collins of Blossvale, NY passed on March 26th, 2026 after a long courageous and dignified battle with Breast Cancer. Jaki was born October, 26 1982 in Newark, NY to her beloved parents David and Tamara Wilsey. Jaki was an only child and grew up in a home full of love in Palmyra, NY. She was a 2001 graduate of Newark High School and she then graduated from Finger Lake Community College as Phi Theta Kappa and then attended Geneseo State University. She started working at Syracuse University in September 2011 as a Financial Ais Counselor then an Assistant Director of Financial Aid for Veterans, ROTC and Transfer Students. She did enjoy her job with her population and colleges and wishes she could have done more. Jaki met the love of her life and best friend, Timothy Collins Jr., in 2006 and they were married in July 2011. If you met them you could see, feel, and envy the love they had for each other. Through the good times and rough times their love remained. The two enjoyed spending time together whether they were doing one of their many outdoor activities such as boating, ATVing or snowmobiling and they had a particular love for camping, traveling, and cruising. She enjoyed interior decorating for the seasons that she learned from her mother. Jaki was always surrounded by company on the weekends with family and friends that loved her most, more than most could imagine. She just loved her dog Reese's along with her chickens, especially Ouiser. Animals and being a bit of a homesteader are things she enjoyed. She believed in the simple things in life. If you met her, you would be touched by her smile, laugh, or a kind word. If she touched your life, think of her with a smile, she was loved by all that knew her. Let her life be an inspiration. She had a love for the Lord, Jesus Christ, and hoped everyone would find the peace and joy of knowing him. She is with the Lord now and there is no more pain, just joy at seeing him face to face. Jaki is predeceased by her grandparents Arlene and Ronald Wilsey and Ben and Dee Handy, her aunt Annette Yager, Jaki leaves behind her beloved husband, Timothy Collins Jr. as well as her parents David and Tamara Wilsey, Father-in-Law Timothy Collins Sr., Sister-in-law Candace Collins, Brother-in-law Brian Wozniak, her beloved niece and nephew Hailey Heath and Riley Herzog as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jaki and Tim want to thank all the nurses and staff at Upstate Cancer Center at Verona as they were phenomenal along with the several Doctors from the Upstate care team that never gave up on her over seven years of care. Per Jaki's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Instead, there will be a celebration of life that will be announced by her family.
