In Loving Memory of Michael Lee Rodriguez
Sunrise: January 24, 2001
Sunset: May 12, 2025
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Michael Lee Rodriguez who left us far too soon at the age of 24.
Michael was a devoted father, a cherished son, a loyal brother, and a friend to so many. His greatest joy in life was being "Dad" to his beautiful 2-year-old daughter Athena Michelle. The bond they shared was filled with love and laughter. A bond that will never be broken.
Known for his warmth, kind heart and unforgettable smile, Mikey lived his life surrounded by the people he loved most and always knowing mamma was his home.
He was deeply family-oriented and never missed a moment to show up for those he cared about. Whether it was a casual backyard hangout or a holiday gathering, he made every moment count.
He found happiness in the simple joys-spending time with friends, hitting the golf course, or knocking down pins at the bowling alley. His passion for life, his easygoing spirit, cool vibes and his genuine kindness made him a light in the lives of everyone he met.
He leaves behind a family who will miss him more than words can express: his daughter Athena, his parents Jessica and Enrique, his siblings Jessy and Enrique JR. and countless relatives and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Though his time with us was short, the impact he made will last a lifetime. We will remember Mikey for the love he gave, the joy he spread, and the beautiful legacy he leaves behind in his daughter.
A visitation will be from 9:30-11am. with prayers at 11am. to celebrate his life a on May 21st at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway. All are welcome to join us in honoring the life of our loving Michael.

Words can and will never describe, the pain I have felt since I heard about mike"s passing. I met Mike 5years ago at sansones crabs, he was always so nice and kind. I will never forget your unique smile and how I was always in the store for longer than expected just him and I talking about life. I remember how happy he was was as his little girl was born and how a proud father that made him. I called the store to get crabs and I´ve always asked for Mike because he was my go to guy and the reason I was continually coming to that special store just for crabs even when I moved from Newcastle to Townsend Delaware I would take that 45 minute ride just to see Mike and get crabs. He was such a light to everyone who came in contact with him. ( I called last Friday to the store and assuming Mike would answer so as usual I asked for Mike and they told me the news- I was driving and I had to pull over and get myself together, I cried like a baby. Mike it was such a pleasure getting to know you and I will never forget your kindness and smile! Your big heart . Rest well buddy until we meet again.
Family I send my condolences and will keep praying for your strength may God continue to comfort you and his daughter.

It is a very sad time and day to hear about this loss. I had the pleasure of getting to know Michael at the seafood store where he worked. He was a very nice guy and always said hello to me and my boyfriend. We are so sorry you had to go and we pray you will RIP in Heaven now. You will be missed and you were a cool guy. Sincerely Ingrid vonFricken and Michael Picciotti
