Michael Rumley Obituary
Michael J. Rumley, 85, of Quakertown, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Phoebe—Richland, following a brief illness.
Born on August 17, 1940, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Alfred J. and June L. (Landis) Rumley.
A graduate of Quakertown High School’s Class of 1959, he went on to enter the workforce. He worked for Freed Glass for many years, then took a position with Landis Meats from which he later retired.
Outside of work, Michael was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He found joy in visiting Wildwood and Cape May, New Jersey beaches, playing cards, completing word puzzles, and spending time with his family.
Michael will be lovingly remembered by his sister: Mary Ellen Yeakel (Gary); niece: Krista Fronk (Bryan); great niece: Natalie; and great nephew: Alexander; as well as several cousins.
A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 10:30am until the time of the funeral service—in the funeral home—at 11:00am.
Interment will follow in St. Isidore’s Parish Cemetery, Quakertown.
