Michael Ruscher Obituary
Born in Brooklyn, NY, December 4, 1951, son of the late Justus and Mary Gerhard Ruscher, he had resided in Hunterdon County since l968.
He was a graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Class of 1969 and served in the US Marine Corps where he was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a painter and was formerly employed by Textile Colors and more recently by Michael Sabo Painting, Flemington, NJ.
Mike enjoyed fishing and reading and had a love of candy, cookies and other sweets.
Surviving are four brothers, Thomas Ruscher of Flemington, NJ, William Ruscher of Ringoes, NJ, Christopher Ruscher in Colorado, and John (Jake) Ruscher of Califon, NJ; a sister, Lorraine Ruscher of Phillipsburg, NJ; nine nieces and nephews, Christopher, Susan, Jessica, Bill, Angus, Samantha, Paige, Jack and Christopher; and seven great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Pen Argyl, PA. Calling hours will be Monday, July 31, 2023, 5:00--7:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Oh my--I just came across this. I dated Michael when he lived in Huguenot. We stayed friends for a while after the family moved to NJ. He was a wonderful guy--lots of fun.

I worked with both Mike and his brother Bill at Flemington car and truck company. Mike was a great guy. Quiet but always had a smile on his face. I´m very sorry to hear of his death. My condolences to his family
