Michael grew up in Inkster and graduated from Fordson High School in 1974. He worked at Ford Motor Company for 46 years until retiring in 2024. He loved his Detroit sports teams and the University of Michigan.
Beloved husband of Rebecca for 47 wonderful years. Loving father of Matthew Sable, Ruth (David) Scaramucci, and Sarah (Jen'ai) James. Dearest grandfather of Luke and Rachel. Dear brother of Nancy Yax Moore. Michael was also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Joan Brusiloff.
Visitation Monday, July 28th, from 2-8 p.m., at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan. In-state on Tuesday, July 29th, 10:30 a.m., Mass in ASL with English interpreter at 11:00 a.m. at St. Valentine Catholic Church, 14841 Beech Daly, Redford Township, Michigan. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 25800 W. 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Archdiocese of Detroit Deaf Community at Our Lady of Loretto .
