Michael J. Santora

Michael J. Santora, known affectionately as Mike to his family and friends, passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on May 22, 1953, Mike lived a life marked by adventure, intelligence, and a warm friendliness that drew people to him.
Mike is survived by his devoted wife of over 50 years, Jeanne Santora, his loving mother Agnes Santora, his caring siblings Patricia Santora, Christine Dove and her husband Lee, Stephen Santora and his late wife Leslie. Mike was predeceased by his son, Jonathan Santora and father, Edward Santora; both of whom he missed dearly and spoke of often with great love and affection.
A NASCAR enthusiast, Mike's passion for the sport was only matched by his love for the outdoors. He spent countless hours volunteering with the local Boy Scout troop with his son Jon, imparting his knowledge and love for nature to the younger generations and his contributions to the various associations he was involved with left a lasting impact. Photography was another of Mike's pursuits; he had an exceptional eye for capturing the beauty of the natural world and the candid moments of life.
A diehard fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Ravens, Mike's sportsmanship and loyalty to his teams were unwavering. His love for music spanned various genres. Additionally, Mike's interest in US history and family ancestry often led him to explore and share stories of his heritage, enriching the family's sense of connection to the past.
Mike had an adventurous spirit, intelligence, and friendly demeanor. His conversations were always lively and full of fascinating anecdotes, and his presence brought joy to those around him. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
As we bid farewell to Michael J. Santora, we celebrate the remarkable life he led and the enduring legacy he leaves behind. His adventurous spirit will continue to inspire us, his intelligence will guide us through our memories, and his friendly smile will forever be etched in our hearts. Mike's journey through life was one of purpose, joy, and an unwavering commitment to his family and friends. He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will remain with us always.
