Michael Schneider

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Schneider, who left this world on December 9, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 87. Born in Winter Haven, Florida, on January 18, 1938, Michael was a beloved son, brother, and father whose kindness and honesty touched the lives of those around him.

His family remembers him as a man whose heart was as big as his laughter, and whose integrity was unwavering. Throughout his life, Michael was not only an accomplished owner-operator of Schneider Sheet Metal but also a proud member of the American Legion. His dedication to his work and commitment to his community exemplified the values he held dear. Beyond his professional achievements, Michael found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including hunting, fishing, and bowling, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and forge lasting memories with family and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Levern and Maelon Schneider. He is survived by his devoted son, Joseph (Tammy) Schneider; his cherished brother, Peter Schneider; and his dear sister, Joy Doyle.

His warm spirit and genuine love for those around him will never be forgotten. Michael leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication that will continue to inspire his family and friends for generations to come. In honoring his memory, we encourage all who knew Michael to share their stories, reflecting on the good times and joyous moments experienced together.
