Michael Anthony Sciarretta

Michael Anthony Sciarretta, 87, of Downingtown, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Chester County Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Helen Faye Cox Sciarretta, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.

Born in Downingtown, he was the son of the late Attilio M. Sciarretta and Emily E. Girafalco Sciarretta.

Mike spent over 60 years in the automotive sales industry, and the majority of those years were spent dealing in Cadillac sales. He enjoyed playing golf, spending time in Atlantic City with family for birthday trips and traveling around the world. Mike always looked forward to gathering with family and friends for the annual Amphibious Order of Frogs at St. Anthony's Lodge in Downingtown.

In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his sisters Dolores Sciarretta DiBeradinis and Patricia Sciarretta Bonaduce. He was a dedicated, generous and loving father whom he is also survived by his children Michael Sciarretta Jr. (& wife Vickie), Andrew Sciarretta (& wife Mary), Richard Demarse (& wife Cindy), Jean Marie Latshaw, Donna Wolf (& husband Timothy), and Beth Sciarretta. He is survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Lastly, he is also survived by his loyal fur-buddy, Royal, whom he shared his meals with.

Mike was predeceased by his brother Joseph Sciarretta, and sisters Janet Sciarretta Gbur and Catherine Sciarretta Forte as well as his son-in-law Austin Latshaw.

Services will be announced at a later date.
