Family Tribute

With great sadness God has called for another angel. Michael Maurice Scott age 66, passed on July 31, 2025. He is survived by Wife Bonita "Bonnie" Scott, Daughter Shalon McCall, Grandsons Rick and Zach Abbott, Great Grandchildren Bentley and Kaliyah Abbott, Son in law Chris McCall, granddaughter in laws Kristy Sloan and Izzy Thompson. Many Brothers and sisters Rosita Avila, Melita Gunn, Robert Howard, Shannon Larkin, John Jones, Kyle Jones, and Carolyn "Sissy" Crowder.

He was preceded in life by Son Rick Scott, Brother Chris "Jelly" Scott, Father Grady Scott, and Mother Carolyn Jones

Growing up Mike Had A variety of jobs until he found the joy of driving a semi. He was an owner operator and started B&M Trucking LLC. In 2016 he retired from trucking.

Mike enjoyed camping with family, loved going to Payne Town at Lake Monroe. Always enjoyed good conversations by the campfire. He also enjoyed sitting at home watching a good western and never missed a wrestling PPV. But most of all Mike loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids and great grandkids.

A Celebration of Life will be held August 24th at 1:00 p.m. at

Sarah T. Bolton Park, 1300 Churchman Ave, Beech Grove, IN 46107 at the Beech Shelter.
