Michael Sedlak III

Atlantic City - Michael Sedlak, III, age 65 passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. Born in Passaic, Michael was raised in northern New Jersey. He owned and operated Bagels On The Hill, a bagel business with his late wife, Donna in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He enjoyed playing poker, taking walks, and spending time at the beach. He was predeceased by his father, Michael, Jr. and his wife, Donna (Nellessen) Sedlak. Michael is survived by his daughter, Danielle Brand, her husband Josiah and their son, Henry of Chesterfield, Virginia; his mother, Anna (nee Sokol) of Wantage; his sister, Marge Bachir and her husband Stanley of Wantage; his brother, Stefan Sedlak and his wife Sandra of Westwood; his fiancé, Robin Buchanan of Atlantic City; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023 at St. Michael Cathedral Chapel, 415 Lackawanna Avenue, Woodland Park. Interment to follow at St. Michael Cemetery, South Hackensack. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
