He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jeanette King.
He is survived by his wife, Jenna Settles; children, Michael (Carrie) Settles, Phillip Settles, Shelley (Waylon) Trammel, Daniel Settles, Brittany (Nate) Settles, and Trevor (Alexys) Settles; step-children, Jillian Cox and Bryce Cox; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Merrit, Deborah (Bobby) Howard, Sherry (Travis) Link, and Tamara Settles.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Larry Eaton officiating. Interment will follow at Old Brush Cemetery with Michael Settles, Phillip Settles, Trevor Settles, Waylon Trammel, Nate Musgrave, Lanny Harris, and Jason Bray serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Garretson, Bryce Cox, Ashton Key, Brantley Hester, Dylan Trammel, and Steve Peterson. Visitation with the family will begin Thursday, November 30th from 4:00-8:00 PM, Friday, December 1st from 1:00-8:00 PM, and Saturday, December 2nd from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
