Michael Wayne Sheard

Michael Sheard, affectionately known as "Mike," age 63, departed this life on December 21, 2025, at Baptist Health
Hospital.
Michael was born on February 21, 1962, to the late James and Celia Elizabeth Sheard. He was preceded in death by
his brother, James Maurice Sheard, and his sister, Laverne Sheard Britton.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory his children, Towonda Armstrong, Marlon (Shemyah) Sheard, and Sharday
(Miles) Parker; and his grandchildren, Anaiyla, Tiereny, NaSasha, Noella, Noah, Antoine, Mitchell, Audiya, Indiya,
Madison, and Mila. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Alani, Demontae, and Camila.
He is further survived by his siblings: Lena (Ronald) McCullum, Bettie Blunt, Bernice Bush, Dora (Roosevelt)
Noise, Nikia Sheard, Angie Carter, and Angela Noid; his sister-in-law, Toni Sheard; and a host of nieces, nephews,
extended family members, and friends.
Michael enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was an avid football fan, faithfully supporting the
Pittsburgh Steelers, and found joy in watching movies and sharing stories with loved ones. Known for his laughter
and warm spirit, Michael had a presence that brought joy to those around him. In his quiet moments, he expressed
his faith through writing spiritual poems.
Michael Sheard will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and love for family. His memory will remain in the
hearts of all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 6:00 - 7:00p.m. at Premier Centre 1020 W. Daisy Bates Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday. January 3, 2026, at 11:00a.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church 2501 South Main Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204 with final resting place in Rest In Peace Memorial Gardens - Hensley, Arkansas. Mr. Sheard final care entrusted to Premier Funeral Home.
