Michael E. Sheilds

Michael E. Sheilds of Maple Shade passed away on Saturday November 1, 2025 at the age of 58. He was born on June 24, 1967 in Voorhees to Harry "Hank" Sheilds and Maryanne Worrell, and was a life long resident of Maple Shade. Mike began learning the trade to become an electrician at 13 years old taught by his father, and he worked as a master electrician for Ark Electric in Berlin. He took great pleasure riding his Harley, was a member of the Sports Car Club of America, and enjoyed attending poker runs. Mike was an avid camper who loved history, the Philadelphia Eagles, and NASCAR.

Beloved partner of 23 years to Christine M. Taylor, loving father of Michael “Ryan” (Nicole) Sheilds, Tyler (Siobhan) Sheilds, loving step-father to Christopher John (Jennifer) Taylor, dear son of Maryanne Worrell (the late Garth), Harry "Hank" Sheilds (Carol Druce), devoted brother of Harry and Eric Sheilds, cherished grandfather of C.J. and Jemma Ann.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Saturday December 27th, 3-7 PM at the Maple Shade Independent Firehouse, 53 S. Maple Ave., Maple Shade, NJ, invitation open to all. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project @woundedwarriorproject.org Arrangements by the MARK C.
