Michael Thomas Shook

Michael Thomas Shook, age 66, of Upper St. Clair, passed away June 14th, 2025. He was the loving husband of Patti Shook, father of Christopher Shook, and brother of Mark Shook. He is also survived by a plethora of nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and neighbors.
Michael was known not only for his many years in the coal industry, but for his many acts of kindness, selflessness, and love, which touched the lives of so many people.
He graduated from West Virginia University in 1981 with a degree in mining engineering. He worked for a multitude of different companies doing what he loved.
Michael was a very hard worker no matter what he was involved in, in and outside of work itself. He was an active member of any church he was a member of, and the communities where he lived. He enjoyed a longstanding season ticket ownership with the Pittsburgh Steelers and absolutely loved all things hockey and baseball.
Michael T. Shook was a truly amazing gentleman whose legacy will be remembered for generations and generations to come.

The funeral will be held at Christ United Methodist Church (44 Highland Road, Bethel Park, Pa) at 12 on Friday.
