Michael Bernard Shroyer

Michael Bernard Shroyer, 70, of Purcell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, in Purcell, Oklahoma.

Michael was born on May 28, 1955, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Dewey Philip Shroyer and Betty Marie Shroyer, who preceded him in death.

A proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Michael was a devoted alumnus and a lifelong Oklahoma Sooners fan. He rarely missed a chance to cheer on his beloved team and proudly wore crimson and cream.

Michael was a man of many passions. He loved singing and expressing himself through art. He found joy in working outdoors, staying active through workouts and running, and spending peaceful hours fishing. Whether he was creating something with his hands, enjoying the outdoors, or encouraging those around him, Michael lived life with energy and heart.

Above all, Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lila Shroyer; his sons, Austin Shroyer and wife Holly, and Travis Shroyer and wife Desiree; and his cherished grandchildren, Braden Shroyer, Rylee Shroyer, Ella Shroyer, and Chloe Shroyer. He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Peterson and husband Dehn, and Vicky Zimmerman and husband Brad.

Michael's legacy of love, strength, faith, and dedication to family will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
