Justin Cox Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel on Feb. 21, 2026.
Justin Tyler Cox, a remarkable husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on February 15, 2026, leaving behind a vibrant legacy and a profound impact on those fortunate enough to have known him. Born on March 27, 1993, Justin made his home in Noble, OK, where his larger-than-life personality and infectious humor brought joy to countless hearts

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sara; his two children, Lincoln and Clayton; his mother, Angela Cox; his sisters, Caela, Andrea, Danielle, and Annette; and his big brother, Danny, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Justin was preceded in death by his father, Danny Ray Cox; his grandparents, Betty Fox Johnson, and Joe and Anita Cox; his aunt, Annette Joyce Cox; and his cousins, Hank Ray Cox, Lucia Concepción Cox-Long, and Onie S. Cox.

Justin was a generational painter who proudly built his own painting business through hard work, dedication, and talent. Outside of work, he lived life fully and passionately. He enjoyed many hobbies, including disc golf and flag football, but his greatest passion was fishing. He was rapidly becoming well known in the catfishing community and had recently begun tournament catfishing - something he poured his heart into and excelled at. He often joked that if he had to choose between Sara and fishing, fishing would win.

Justin was often described as a mountain of a man - strong, dependable, and full of life. He valued family deeply and loved sharing laughter with those around him. Though his time here was far too short, Justin's legacy lives on through the love he gave, the memories he created, and the stories that will continue to be shared for years to come. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Though his time here was far too short, the impact Justin made will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His laughter, stories, and the memories made on the water and with family will be carried forward by those he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
