Michael J. Simons (1995 - 2025)
Michael J. Simons, 29, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025.
Born on August 25, 1995, in Washington Township, NJ, Michael was the beloved son of Donna Simons. He graduated from Fort Leonard Wood in 2015 as part of the U.S. Army and went on to serve in the National Guard, earning an honorable discharge in 2018. Michael was dedicated to his work at the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, where he made a meaningful impact. Outside of work, Michael had a passion for hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle, Rhonda. His greatest joys and titles in life, however, were those of Veteran and Dad.
Michael is survived by his mother, Donna Simons (Scott Borton Sr.); his two uncles Brian (Christine) and Rick (Britni); his aunt Tammy (Ed) Goss; his sisters Kelsey (Don) Waugh and Savannah Boulineau; his brother Dustin (Michelle) Bagby; his fiancée Kierston Wilmer and his son Emitt Gibbs. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandparents.
Michael was preceded in death by his Grandmom and Grandpop Simons, Grandmom Eller, Pop-pop Donny, and his daughter Aubree.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Charles and Maggie Martin, Seth and Kari Wilson, Mike and Ashley Jandolenko, Dylan and Kate McCarthy, Jason and Rebecca, Zach and Alissa and Zack and Mkhaila for their unwavering love and support during this difficult time. They have been a true family to Michael.
Services will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ, on Friday, April 11, 2025. The viewing will begin at 11 AM, with the service following at 1 PM. Burial will take place at Lawnside Cemetery.
