Wayne Swope Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Adams Funeral Home - Woodstown on Jan. 12, 2026.
Wayne Swope, 68, of Pedricktown, NJ, passed away on January 9, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, he was the cherished son of Howard and Kathrine Swope.

Wayne dedicated 35 years of his career to PSE&G, where he served as a maintenance supervisor before retiring. He had a profound passion for boating and cars, frequently attending car and boat shows in Baltimore and Miami, which brought him great joy.

Despite his love for these hobbies, Wayne preferred the comforts of home. He enjoyed spending time working on projects around the house and watching movies in his leisure.

He is survived by his son, Kris, and his wife, Alyssa, and in addition to his parents, a brother, Gerald Swope, predeceased him.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Condolences can be shared at adamsfuneralhome.org.

My husband and I were friends with Wayne for many years. You have my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I was shocked to find out about his death today when I called his cell phone and found out it had been disconnected.
