Michael Ryan "Mikey" Sloan was born in St. Louis Park, MN on December 4th, 1968 and passed away from heart complications at home with his family, his beloved Abby and Tiger by his side, on December 16, 2022, in Mehama, Oregon.
Mikey enjoyed fishing, campfires, sunsets, budweiser beer only in the bottle, Lets make a deal, McDoubles, playing the nickel slots, laughing, jokes, Jesus, rap music, being with those who loved him, living by his Christian faith, bible study and Church. His friends were always of great importance to him at all times. He believed everyone, no matter their differences or beliefs, was worthy of love and compassion. He had a soft spot for animals and spending time out in nature, no matter the climate.
Mikey endured a very hard life medically, but always looked for the silver lining in every obstacle, event or situation. He often had a smile on his face, and made everyone laugh with him. He was a spirit unlike any other. He is, and will continue to be, incredibly missed by those who loved him through everything to the bittersweet end.
A celebration of life is to be announced in the coming weeks to celebrate our dear friends life, love and friendships he garnered over his 54 years of life.
Mikey is preceeded in death by his Mother, Marsha Peickert; His Father, Harold Sloan; His sisters Teresa and Lorene; His brother Ron; His best friend Paul; and his sweet dogs Boo and Mia. He is survived by a small circle of close friends; a handful of family in Minnesota, His dog Abby and his cat Tiger. He will be eternally missed by Leeann, Audry, Brandi, Jeremy, Emily, Ben and Harry.
