Michael began his education at West High School and later earned his GED. His commitment to learning continued throughout his life as he pursued continuing education through his various places of employment. His career was as diverse as it was industrious—he held many roles over the years, including bussing tables, installing pipe insulation, driving grain trucks and spray coops, and working in maintenance and refrigeration engineering. In each position, he brought a strong work ethic and a steadfast spirit that earned the respect of those around him.

A man of faith and service, Michael found purpose not only in his work but also in supporting those he loved. He had a deep passion for building and tinkering—whether it was fixing something around the farm or crafting something new with his hands. His joy came from being present for others; if his wife or children had a passion or interest, Michael made it his own by standing beside them with unwavering support.

Those who knew Michael remember him as loving, loyal, and steadfast, a grounding presence whose quiet acts of kindness left lasting impressions. His legacy is one of devotion to family and faith, of hard work done humbly and well.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
