On July 4th Michael Angelo Spadaro's soul found its independence when he unexpectedly passed away in his sleep at his home. He was born to Fortunato "Frank" Spadaro and Catherine J. Spadaro on January 30th, 1950 in Cleveland.
Loving father of Annette(Michael) Pennella, Jolie Kolassa(Craig Everett), Catherine(James) Fedor, Fortunato(Nicole) Spadaro and the late Gina Spadaro.
Wonderful Grandfather to Maverick and Josephine Pennella, Kirstie(Daniel) Zarobsky and Christopher(Erica) Kolassa, Kory, James, Jacob, and Joseph Fedor, Ella and Vincent Spadaro, and the newest addition to the family great-grandson Wade Kolassa.
Fabulous Brother to Ann(the late Paul)Bartko, Theresa(the late Ken) Ineman, and Dolly(the late Ron) Klukan.
Devoted Uncle to 10 nieces and nephews.
Michael also leaves behind his "Partner in Crime" and best friend Michael Spinelli and very cherished friend Jimmy Albano, along with many other dear friends.
At a young age Michael developed a love of cutting hair and spending time with the guys at the barber shop. He worked at his father's shop, Frank and Son's Barber Shop. As life progressed, he pursued a career at Seaway Foods which became Sysco. He worked his way through the ranks, starting at an entry level position but, quickly move up into a management role. After several years he moved to Head Night Shift Manger to Director of Warehouse to Vice President of Operations and retired as Regional Vice President. He was greatly admired by his coworkers. In retirement he returned to his family roots and joined the team of Barbers at George's Barber Shop in Northfield. Which he greatly enjoyed.
Michael loved his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with them. He would play chauffer to anyone who needed one and take them anywhere they wanted to go. He appreciated a well-run grocery store and toured them all over the country. Going shopping with him was always fun because he always said yes if you wanted something. Michael enjoyed life to the fullest. His time spent with his casino crew was the highlight of his week. His passion was poker and pinochle. Playing with his friends always brought him joy. He went the extra mile to spend time with his grandchildren and created a close bond with each one of them which they all will keep in their hearts forever.
