Michael Lee Spiller Sr

Michael Lee Spiller Sr., age 81, passed away on October 8, 2025, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was born on August 5, 1944, in Howard, Kansas, and attended Moline Public Schools in his early years.
Michael spent his entire life working for Bellco Materials as a heavy equipment operator, a role he took great pride in. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his trade.
A true outdoorsman, Michael enjoyed watching westerns, hunting, and fishing. He probably knew every western ever made and could quote them all by heart. Whether on the water, in the woods, or in his favorite chair watching his favorite shows, he found joy in the simple things.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Laclifta) Spiller and Brian Spiller; his daughter, Tonia; and his grandchildren: Dakota Cornman, Savannah Cornman, Sierra Spiller, Nicole Powell, Michael C. Spiller, Caleb Spiller, Hailey Pliler, LaKrista Kerr, and LaTasha Martin (Robert). He also leaves behind 13 great-grandchildren who will carry forward his spirit and stories.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandson, RJ Pliler, as well as his parents and all of his sisters and brothers.
He will be remembered for his strength, humor, and the countless memories he created with those who loved him. Though he may be gone, the echoes of his laughter and the legacy of his love will remain forever.
