Michael Lynn Stowe

Michael Lynn Stowe,
age 68, of Royston, Ga.,
passed away on Nov. 28,
2025, at St. Mary's Sacred
Heart Hospital.
Born on Aug. 6, 1957, in
Stephens County, he was
the son of the late Fay and
Sara Stowe, of Toccoa.
Michael graduated from
Stephens County High
School and devoted his life
to serving the community.
He spent many years
working at Stephens
County Hospital. Later, he
became a bus driver for
Baldwin County Schools
and Stephens County
Schools. He enjoyed his
time volunteering with lit-
tle league, where he had
served as the District 7
Umpire-In-Chief.
He was a member of
The Pointe Church of Toc-
coa. Michael was a beloved
husband, father, and
grandfather, whose love
and warmth touched the
lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his
wife, Natalie Loftis Stowe;
his children: Jeremy
Stowe (Brooke), Cassie
Bennett, and Miranda
Harris (Trey); his grand-
children: Carson Stowe,
Malloree Stowe, Claire
Bennett, and Emma Ben-
nett, his parents-in-law,
Ronnie and Marie Loftis;
his brother-in-law, Andy
Loftis (Paula); his sister-
in-law, Kay Stowe; a num-
ber of nieces and nephews;
and his beloved dog,
Ralph. In addition to his
parents, he was preceeded
in death by his brother,
Ralph Stowe, and sister,
Lisa Stowe Sellers.
A celebration of
Michael's life was held on
Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at 2
p.m. at the funeral home
chapel. The service was of-
ficiated by Rev. Chad
Smith and Rev. Dr. Rod-
ney McBride. Burial fol-
lowed at Lavonia City-
Burgess Cemetery. The
following gentlemen
served as pallbearers: Jim-
my Fortson, Jeremy Ha-
ley, Trey Harris, Brian
Henry, J. P. Hewitt, Jason
Kaup, Andy Loftis, and
Matt Stowe.
The family received
friends at the funeral
home on Monday from 12
p.m. until the service. In
lieu of flowers, memorial
donations are requested to
the American Heart Asso-
ciation or The Pointe
Church.
