Michael R. Sulenski

1947 - 2023

Michael R. Sulenski, 75, of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Sept. 29, 1947, in Natrona, to the late Chester and Regina (Zembrzuski) Sulenski. Michael was a 1965 graduate of Har-Brack High School. He was of the Catholic faith. Michael retired after 31 years of service as a supervisor for Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge. Michael was a former police commissioner for Harrison Township. He was a member of the Tarentum Sportsmen Club. Michael enjoyed collecting model trains and loved his Westie, Bridgett. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna (Woll) Sulenski; daughter, Kathleen (Andrew) Scarcella, of Alexandria, Va., grandchildren, Zachary Gannon, Courtney (Michael) Macklin and William Scarcella; and by his great-granddaughter, Astrid. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle R. Gannon, Sept. 5, 2007; brother, Bruno Sulenski; and by his sister, Sister Regina Sulenski. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
