Michael Patrick Suozzo

Michael P. Suozzo of Doylestown, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in the Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. He was 59.
Michael was a passionate, self-taught chef, working his way up from dishwasher to chef in many restaurants in the Lambertville-New Hope area, as well as Doylestown, San Francisco, New York City and Baltimore.
Over the last 15 years, Mike was a chef at The Solana Doylestown, Pine Run Retirement Community and Bucks County Country Club. His love of cooking led him to place in a chili cookoff in Lambertville.
Mike held various leadership positions within Bucks County Alcoholics Anonymous groups. He was a mentor to many.
In his spare time, Mike enjoyed spending time outdoors. He frequented Lake Galena and Lake Nockamixon. Mike also enjoyed music, particularly drums and guitar. When in high school at Central Bucks East, he was a drummer in the marching band.
In his travels, Mike especially enjoyed fishing, kayaking and snorkeling in the Florida Keys. He enjoyed visiting sea mammal sanctuaries, interacting with sea lions and turtles.
Mike is survived by his loving mother, Dorothea Suozzo, sister Gale Strohl, brother Richard Suozzo, niece Amanda Ducsak (Bill) and grand nephew Oliver Ducsak, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved cat, Sika.
A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902 on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in Solebury Friends Graveyard, New Hope, PA.
