Michael Lee Swingle passed from his earthly home on January 12, 2025 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Michael was born on June 19th, 1991, in Abilene, TX. Beloved son of Wayne Swingle Sr. and Diana Wade. Mikey was number 3 of 5 beautiful children. Wayne, Kim, Bobby, and Becky were blessed to be his siblings. From the time he was born he always brought laughter, love, and light into our family.
Mikey would go on to move from Texas, to Florida, Georgia and then back to Texas where he finished his schooling and played football for Weatherford. Mikey went on to follow through with the family tradition of becoming an electrician and joined his Grandfather, Father, Brother, and cousins in the family line of business.
He was a superhero father and a very hands-on dad always carrying a baby around on his hip. His legacy lives on through his beautiful children Bryson, Mylah, Paislee, and Ryan who miss and love him very much. He was a wonderful uncle to his nephews and nieces Kaden, Blayne, Hazel, Hudson, Lawson, Astrid, and Freya. Mike is also survived by his grandmother, Ruth and grandparents, Charlie and Brenda. Mikey loved to spend his free time with his family at the lake riding jet skis and fishing on the dock. He was a fan of basketball (especially the Chicago Bulls). Mikey was always the first to make a joke and turn someone's day around for the better. Master prankster and most of the time making his father the victim just to see his siblings laugh. Despite his trials Mikey made sure to rise above every obstacle and always stayed positive even in the hardest of times. He loved all his family and will be missed immensely every day of our lives.
