Michael Tackett Obituary
Michael Tackett age 34, passed away Friday September 12, 2025. Michael was born in Madison County to Archie Douglas Tackett and Jennifer Sue (Larry) Johnson, he was employed by AAA Fencing, and in his death, he chose to be an organ donor. Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Harold Bowman, his sister Christina Ward, and his great-grandmother Christeen Harris.
Michael is survived by his parents Archie Tackett and Jennifer Sue (Larry) Johnson, his partner Emily Frasure, his children: Levi Tackett, and John Tackett, and Jada Stewart, siblings: Lisa (Keith) Bicknell, and Ashley Johnson, special nieces Raychel Alexander and Kloe Kelley, aunt and uncle Harold Douglas (Lori) Bowman, Maternal grandmother Sue Bowman, and Paternal grandparents Lois and Ben Holbrook, and his friend and boss Keith Little.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday Sept. 19, 2025 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Cobb officiating. Pallbearers will be Tim Singleton, Jeremiah Wilson, Keith Bicknell, Harold Edwards, Ruben Clark, and Larry Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers Harold Bowman, Madison Frasure, DR Richardson, and Jeanna Gray. Visitation will be Friday from 11 am – 12 noon at Lakes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Madison County Memorial Gardens.
